Description
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane is a substituted aromatic compound belonging to the chemical family of dibenzoylmethanes, a class of organic molecules characterized by two aromatic rings joined to a central 1,3-diketone group. Its declared technical functions are UV filter, UV absorber and light stabilizer. The ingredient is also identified by the international nonproprietary name avobenzone.
